Kick It Up At The Toronto Lynx Soccer Club "School Day"

It should come as no surprise for Canadian parents and educators that soccer has become the number one participation sport in our country. Soccer is truly a game that unites the planet! It's also one of the world's most accessible games, economical and gender neutral.
The Toronto Lynx Soccer Club of the North American A-league represents the highest level of pro soccer in our country. The other Canadian clubs are the Vancouver Whitecaps, the Montreal Impact and the Calgary Storm with more Canadian clubs on the horizon with expansion. The Lynx are going into their seventh season of showcasing fine Canadian pro soccer talent in Toronto and their fan base is steadily growing as a result of the fine community outreach programs that they have established.
Since 1998, the franchise has been offering their Lynx School Program for enhancing physical education programs and soccer activity in GTA schools. The program includes complimentary soccer clinics delivered by the Toronto Lynx players and coaching staff in addition to educational presentations on lifestyle issues such as smoking and bullying. This wonderful program is capped off in the spring with their annual School Day at Centennial Park in Etobicoke, when students and educators can witness first hand high quality soccer play and be further inspired.
In 2003, the Toronto Lynx School Day will take place on Wednesday May 14th with a 12:00 kick off! Tickets are only $5 / youth and teachers / guardians receive a FREE ticket with every 10 youth tickets. The School Day is a fun outing when the Lynx also showcase school bands / choirs / youth soccer teams as part of the on-field activities. A wonderful way to bring closure to another school year!
