Ophea (Ontario Physical and Health Education Association) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting school communities through advocacy, quality programs and services, and partnership building. Ophea is led by the vision that all kids will value, participate in, and make a lifelong commitment to active, healthy living.

Ophea is guided by the following belief statements which serve as values and guiding principles in the strategic focus, mission, and core business of the organization:

Ophea and Active Healthy Kids Canada
In 1994, Ophea became the founding partner of Active Healthy Kids Canada (formerly The Foundation for Active Healthy Kids), a charitable organization that focuses on national leadership and advocacy to increase quality, accessible, and enjoyable physical activity participation experiences for children and youth where they live, learn, and play.
